On Easter
Sunday (the best day in the year!) I preached at Listowel Christian Fellowship
(in Co. Kerry) www.listowelchristianfellowship.ie where we
have friends we have known since they were students in the 1970s. One of them
astounded us by remembering details of Bible studies in our home in 1971 when
he was not yet a believer! I spoke on Acts 26 “This thing was not done in a
corner.” Jesus did not die in his bed. He died in public – shameful, horrific,
but liberating for us because no doubt was left about it.
A special
edition of the gospel of Luke is being made available to the homes of all Catholic
and Church of Ireland (Anglican) residents in the Dublin area - hundreds of
thousands of homes. This comes at a time of acute questioning in the Catholic
church. Pray that God will use his Word to enlighten many at this critical hour in the
nation’s history.
In March
Pam attended her step-mother’s memorial service in California.
On Thursday
we leave for Finland to do all we can to encourage the Agape friends there –
then on to Estonia (just two hours by boat) to see the work in Tallinn
(Estonia).
